Buddy’s bar-b-q has a long local history. Our company has been serving local, hometown BBQ for 50+ years. It all began in 1972, when Carcel and LaMuriel Smothers decided to open a new barbecue restaurant in Knoxville. Since then, Buddy’s bar-b-q has found a collective recipe for success in our delicious, homestyle food and our focus on customer service. We’ve always prided ourselves on our ability to serve consistently good food and great portions for an affordable price, as well as our ability to always offer efficient and helpful service with a smile.
